Cover Feedback & Paper Selection Process

Survivors, we got your feedback on the new cover—loud, clear, and we’re working on a solution that we’ll share soon. In the meantime, we’re deep in the process of selecting the perfect paper for The 4. The paper we have chose before doesn’t highlight all the vibrant colors and some detailed illustration, it just looks too pale. With each chapter representing a different apocalyptic scenario, we want the materials to reflect these themes—different paper textures, elevations, and tones to match the focal colors of each section. It’s a challenge, but one we’re excited to take on.

New Cover & Updated Spreads

Hi everyone,

We’re happy to share a new cover design for The 4!
The cover features a bold “4” built entirely from survival tools and gear—knives, gas masks, medical supplies, weapons, ropes, and more. It reflects the essence of the book: being prepared for anything.

However the text on the cover is under review, and we might tweak it to ensure it fully reflects what the book is about. We’re giving the cover some extra love—refining the materials and making it even better. It’s not there yet, but it’s going to be awesome. You’ll just have to hold it to truly appreciate it!

We’re also in the final stages of completing all the texts for the book, making sure every detail is just right.

Pins Are Here! Plus Layout Updates

Hey everyone!

It’s time for another update on The 4, and we’re happy to report that we’re making great strides and loving the results so far. The layout work is progressing wonderfully. By staying true to our design strategy, each spread is turning out more dynamic and visually captivating than ever before:

We’ve also been working on a little extra for those of you who selected the Survival Kit perk. In our last update, we revealed the concept for the pins, and now—here they are! The designs have come to life, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to show you the final versions. Each pin perfectly captures the essence of its respective apocalypse scenario, making them a unique and meaningful addition to the Survival Kit.

Layout in Progress & Add-On Changes

Hey everyone,

We wanted to share a quick update on “The 4.” Our layout is coming along nicely, and each page is getting the attention it deserves to make the design clean, readable, and visually engaging. It’s exciting to see it all come together!

We’re excited to add a set of custom pins to the survival kit! Every backer who purchased a survival kit will receive a set of pins, each one dedicated to a specific chapter with unique colors and logos representing that chapter’s theme - Nuclear winter, Pandemic, Zombies, Global warming.
