It's time for your monthly dose of update! We promised to keep you in the loop, and we're here to deliver. While we don't have any major bombshells to drop this time around, rest assured, everything's humming along smoothly according to plan. So, without delaying any longer, here's what's up:
We just wanted to let you know that everything's going according to plan. Our team of writers and illustrators has been putting their hearts into this project, bringing it to life just like we imagined. We're excited to share that we've made significant progress on the visual elements of the book. In this update, we'll be giving you a sneak peek at some of the new illustrations and sketches that will bring “The 4“ to life in vivid detail. We're getting closer to creating the ultimate survival guide! Take a look at some of the new illustrations:
You know what they say, "inspiration can strike from unexpected places", and in our case, it was the iconic game “Fallout” that fueled our creative fire. The mesmerizing post-apocalyptic world, the captivating stories, and the art of survival within the game ignited our imaginations. It all helps to bring “Nuclear Winter” chapter to life. And the new “Fallout” TV Series directed by Christopher Nolan's brother himself - Jonathan Nolan, huh!? We’ve been glued to the screen since it aired. They nailed the tone, the aesthetic of the game is on. They set a bar for the future game related project high for sure. If you haven’t seen it yet and If you're anything like us, craving an adrenaline-pumping journey through a dystopian landscape, this series is an absolute must-watch. Our team wanted to assure you that there is no reason to worry, as we have been working tirelessly behind the scenes to enhance the book's content and overall experience.
Before diving into the details, we would like to express our gratitude for your continued support and patience throughout this journey. Your belief in our project has been truly inspiring, and we want to assure you that this delay is only for the betterment of the final product.
The primary reason for the delay is the rewriting process. We decided to take this opportunity to elevate the quality of the book by revisiting and enhancing materials. Trust us when we say that it was a necessary step in delivering the exceptional content you deserve. The rewriting phase takes 3-5 months minimum, as we wanted to ensure that each chapter surpassed your expectations. Additionally, we made the decision to incorporate some new materials that we found would significantly add value to the overall survival guide. This required thorough research and careful execution to provide you with comprehensive knowledge for not only surviving the pandemic but also navigating through a potential zombie attack, nuclear winter, and global warming. Furthermore, we felt that the book needed a visual uplift to complement the valuable information provided within its pages. To accomplish this, we have been diligently working on creating new illustrations that will captivate and engage you on your survival journey. These intricate illustrations play a vital role in boosting the content and making it more immersive.
We are thrilled to share that we have reached a significant milestone in the illustration process. With 32 spreads left to be illustrated, our team estimates that it will take approximately 3 months to complete this intricate and visually engaging aspect of the book. Each illustration is being carefully crafted to complement the text, providing a comprehensive and immersive experience for our readers. We want to provide you with the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding our progress. Currently, the rewriting process is still ongoing, and we estimate it will take approximately 3 months to complete. Our team is diligently working to enhance the content and ensure that each chapter surpasses your expectations. After all the rewriting and illustration processes are done, we are going to shift our focus to the crucial step of printing and delivery.
Moving forward, we understand the importance of keeping our backers informed and engaged. To achieve it, we have decided to provide you with regular updates on our progress. Starting from now on, we will share significant milestones and developments with you once a month. This commitment to transparency aims to keep you informed every step of the way and ensure that you are part of the journey towards the completion of "The 4: Survive Through 4 Apocalypse Scenarios."
