Dear backers,
Today we'd like to briefly address some points on the status of The 4.
First, we want to thank each and every one of you for still supporting us despite the difficulties and delays we're facing. We’d like to express our special gratitude to superbacker Josh Seth for his detailed feedback, insight and understanding.
Unfortunately, it's quite common for Kickstarter campaigns to get delayed, and ours was not an exception despite our best efforts. We couldn't foresee certain circumstances but are working hard to resolve the problems and get the book produced. We will continue sharing previews of our new pages, but will only show low resolution versions, otherwise there won't be much point to the final product if we share everything in detail ahead of launch.
We’re happy to report that we managed to find an investor to speed up production and ensure continued top quality by hiring the best experts in relevant fields and top illustrators for the job. Our team is highly motivated and we're moving forward!
Concerning some comments about our IndieGoGo campaign - it's a standard practice for a Kickstarter campaign to move on to IGG once the original campaign is complete to raise more funds with InDemand. We've done so right after our campaign ended, and long before any unexpected issues showed up.
A few of you were asking about changing their shipping address. This will certainly be possible, and we'll give more information about how closer to release.
Judging from current circumstances, we should be able to finish the book within the next 6 months. Unfortunately, we can't go any faster - illustrators need time to draw great art, and we'd rather have an amazing product in the end, rather than a rushed project.
We promise we'll be in contact more often and share all future details and milestones.
Thanks again, we are extremely grateful for your continued patience and support!

Hello everyone,
We would like to sincerely apologize for the lack of recent announcements and another delay in production.
Our team is going through very difficult times - a lot of our personnel are from Ukraine. These are mostly our illustrators behind the book design, they're directly responsible for the art we've been showing you throughout the updates.
For almost eight months Russian army has been waging war against Ukraine, striking at cities and bombing civilian infrastructure indiscriminately, using long-range missiles and strategic aviation where their artillery and tanks can't reach.
Instead of working and leading their peaceful lives, our staff and their families are forced to constantly wait out air raid sirens in shelters, praying that one of Vladimir Putin's so-called "high-precision munitions" won't bury them alive. This naturally impacts their ability to deliver content for The 4 in time.
From the way the war has been unfolding, we were certain that one delay would suffice to account for this impediment (for the lack of a better word) among the others we've faced.
However, these deliberate attacks on civilians have been escalating, the invasion force switching to flat out terrorism on a strategic scale, targeting power plants across the nation to try and leave Ukraine without electricity, heat and water - basic essential utilities - to force people into submission in light of the Russian inability to achieve decisive victory on the battlefield.
Thanks to the heroic efforts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the overwhelming international military and economic support provided to Ukraine, the long-term outcome of this conflict is pretty obvious by now, but the enemy aren't shy of stooping lower and lower to try and delay their inevitable total defeat, sparing no Russian soldier or even civilian of their own, just to hold onto the territory they've managed to occupy.
With no end in sight, we've made the decision to hire extra artists from other parts of the world, while also doing everything in our power to support our Ukrainian personnel.
They will make a fine addition to our team and you can rest assured this does not mean a drop in quality.
Unfortunately, due to the nature of circumstances we find ourselves in, we are unable to provide any new release date. We cannot provide any estimated shipping date. All we can say on the matter is that we're working day and night to complete this project as soon as we can.
Please forgive us, but ironically, a lot of our team now find themselves in some very specific circumstances pictured in our book, not by their own choice or fault, but simply because they got stuck with the neighbour that they have to the East of their state border.
With that said, we're still making progress and today we've got more pages to show you. Please see below.
We really value your support and patience. Thank you!
